The Matrix Revolutions Review

Briefly:

The action of the third film will begin with the same scene with which the second "Matrix" ended. Since the script of the film was carefully kept under wraps, we had to rely on the words of the film's producer, Joel Silver: "It will be a continuous war between Humans and Machines." Will Neo be able to save his friends and all of humanity? Or maybe everything has already been decided for the characters themselves?

The Matrix Revolutions

Description: The action of the third film will begin with the same scene with which the second "Matrix" ended. Since the script of the film was carefully kept under wraps, we had to rely on the words of the film's producer, Joel Silver: "It will be a continuous war between Humans and Machines." If you search a lot, that's why this whole story is quite interesting. Although it reminded me more of Dragon Ball Z at the end, in general these are movies about Determinism and human connection. You may find a lot of symbols or meanings that you catch, but the main question is whether you will take the time to sit and look for the "greater meaning" in this movie.

Already from the second film, the problem started, the action scenes started getting bigger and bigger, but less and less "realistic". Nothing shows that like the final fight of this movie, which I'll admit was so boring and pretty much seen that I had to check the clock to see how long it would last. An anime-style fight where you don't even know if someone is doing something to someone or just pushing each other...

If in the second movie we could still have a balance between good fights and a heavy dose of philosophy, here the symbolism and philosophy are just hitting you in the face, if you still didn't understand that Neo is supposed to be Jesus, don't be afraid this movie will remind you every 2 minutes. When you start your trilogy with light philosophical ideas and end with a 5-minute dialogue about choice and reality, I think a lot of people find it quite boring.

Overall - 6/10
