If you like stories related to science, computers, and technology, this series will be for you. Here you can even find a few ideas that, at least personally, feel fresh or presented from a new angle. Perhaps more importantly, all of these ideas are presented in a fairly simple way, so even without knowing all the technologies mentioned here, you can understand what's going on and why. It's very common for sci-fi to bombard you with a million terms right from the start (eg nano-technology) to sound smart or plug story holes. This is where the ideas are understood and presented in an easy-to-digest format.

Although the animation isn't very special, everything here has a neat and beautiful style. In general, everything looks like a mix between that traditional looking animation and cartoons (Avatar, Harley Quinn). And the fact that many of the simpler locations don't use up much of the budget allows the fight scenes to be more weird and fast. I'm also happy that the use of technology is really realistic and makes the world feel alive. There won't be those wonderful scenes where someone presses random keyboard buttons for 3 minutes and then says "I'm in". No, even Reddit is presented normally here…

Although a few of the characters may appear quite simple at the beginning, they all reveal much more interesting sides as the series progresses. Most of them feel confident, like you and me, they respond to change naturally and can quickly understand who they are inside. Even several times the story itself chooses a more difficult path than just screaming about eternal love and bringing the characters back together. In general, I don't know if I can say that the series has "bad guys", don't get me wrong, there are a lot of characters doing bad things, but even behind that, there seems to be at least a part of wanting a better world... It's nice when stories aren't just black and white....

Overall - 10/10
