Klaus

Description: A simple act of kindness always inspires another, even in a frozen, distant and cold place. When Smeerensburg's new postman, Jesper, befriends toymaker Klaus, their gifts dissolve their eternal feud and finally inspire holiday traditions for these evil townspeople.

The film will warm your heart and become a sweet new tale of how Santa became the only Santa we love. While it doesn't completely change the overall mythology, each little twist in the story adds new interesting characters and a different perspective on how some Christmas traditions began. It's nice to see what may seem so "logical" to us, have more real and sincere roots.

Hey, haven't you cried in a while? Well, good luck, because the script is full of weird and funny moments, but when a movie wants you to feel sad emotions, oh trust me, you will. And because the story never asks too much of you or pushes a certain tone, all those emotions feel very well presented, I'd say even human.

Animation… oh animation, it has a lot of detail, but it's also very fast and fluid to depict action, movement, or emotion. The quality goes from "oh that's cool" to "wow this is it... I want this sequence on my wall".

Overall - 9/10
