Description: With his parents' divorce looming, Kevin McCallister must thwart a plot by his old nemesis Marv and his wife Vera to kidnap the crown prince, despite the opposition of his father Peter, Peter's fiancee Natalie and Natalie's butler Mr. Prescott.
Eh, I already understood that it is not very possible to hire good main actors, the strangest thing is that the supporting characters do their job quite well, but the main ones... eh, either they are absolutely overworked and behave completely illogically or they just "exist" and say their lines. Of course, the biggest problem remains the main child who has absolutely no charisma and you start to wish that maybe those thieves would take him out of this movie.
This house looks absolutely never lived in, everything is so neat, so sterile that I swear it feels more like breaking into a museum than someone's home. And in such an environment, traps become seemingly random things, instead, the thief fell down the stairs, as original and unexpected. It all feels somewhat inverse to Home Alone standards and tone.
I don't know, I don't know why this movie has a weird place in my heart, it's insanely stupid, but I really liked several locations and actors. I don't know, it seems like this movie shows warm emotions from time to time and, I'm afraid to even say it, but "interesting" story writing. Don't expect much, writing this plus, I'm already digging into the last bones of this movie so that I can give at least one plus...Overall - 4/10
