BoJack Horseman Review

Description: Meet the most beloved sitcom horse of the 1990s - 20 years later. BoJack Horseman Former star of the hit TV show Horsin' Around. But today he is no longer the same shining star... Now he lives in Hollywood, complains about everything, drinks way too much and wears sweaters in outdated colors.

Despite the realistic and thought-provoking situations, this series belongs to the comedy genre. After all, in life, even in painful situations, we try to use humor to lighten the mood. Every joke is well-crafted and thought-out, and many of them span multiple seasons. Often tense or important situations can be very easily ruined by inappropriate humor (ahem, Marvel), but here the humor just complements the drama, making it as realistic as real life. Well... with a horseman.

This series REALLY has something to say and it does it very well. Many of the episodes are very colorful, weird, or just plain fun silly, but nothing breaks the world or changes characters just because they can. This allows you to understand and even predict the actions or reactions of the characters, just like in reality. The story has been defining the rules since the first season and never losing sight of them. This is one of those cases where the world building and all the limitations are probably the most interesting part of the series.

What is the end? This is such a stupid question, isn't it? But it wasn't until the end of this series that made me think about it. This whole story is about life, so the ending is very… life-like. And this allows the transmitted ideas and questions to be deeply absorbed into your subconscious. No one screams or creates drama here. There is no villain that everyone rushes to stop. Here are just people who are constantly going on different paths and completing one stage of life after another. Like us, we may never see the people we once considered friends again. However, there is nothing to blame, nothing to be angry at, you just understand that it has to be like this - life is life, na nana nananana.

Overall - 10/10
