Kansas City Bar-B-Que Review - Ambience 4/5

The place here is very comfortable, but the place itself is not much inside. You can find Kansas BBQ at the corner of the Bus Station, so it's easy to find the place when taking the bus or traveling by car. The interior is as it should be, bright, and although the room is small, there are several tables with simple chairs. Understandably, all the focus is on takeaway food, so you don't need too much of that space. The interior is neat and clean.

Although there is still not a very "American" feeling of the environment, we mark the word YET, the numbers of different states hung on the walls give a certain "vibe". However, this is only the beginning, we think that in time the Anglican style will really catch on here.

After visiting here even several times, we were not disappointed with the service, the staff answered our questions and helped us choose what to try at their place. You won't find any special jumping here, and you really don't need it. The menu is laid out pretty clearly, too it is possible to pay both in cash and by card. And you can leave a tip with a mobile app, we even really approve of such things.

In general, we didn't have to wait long for the food, or rather, it was made so quickly that you start to think maybe it was ready at the starting line. But laugh with laugh, We haven't had any complaints from the staff and I hope we won't have any.

Well, I'll admit right away, it's getting difficult for us to find tasty ribs. Most often, the amount of the portion does not match the price, there is not a lot of meat, and the toppings somehow do not fit. But we still try and find where that delicious rib might be. He reigned for a long time Disco Burgers and their ribs, but now it's time for competition… So, Kansas City Bar-B-Que We liked the ribs both for the price-quality ratio, the softness of the meat, and of course the most important taste.

Two small observations about the ribs, especially when they come with potatoes, would really like to have some kind of sauce. And if in person the pickled vegetables were a bit off, perhaps a larger serving of fresh vegetables would have pushed the ribs into the 10/10 range. Although, the jalapeños in the photo looked more like… mmm… where is my spiciness?!?!? All kidding aside, overall, this place claims to be ours TOP 5 just because of this dish.

Don't get me wrong, here it is the burgers did not disappoint us. Although we might not be able to praise it very much, the fact that you are not immediately disappointed with the taste or quantity of food after bringing it home is already a plus.

The biggest advantage of burgers is scandies and well-cooked meat. God, I'm so tired of paying money for overcooked or bad-tasting meat. And it feels like the burgers are built with an idea in mind, rather than throwing random things found in the kitchen on top of each other. The flavors are not cut, the sauce is not too much, and you can enjoy at least a bit of each product. Good thing that burgers are built solid enough, that is, when you pick up a burger to eat, half of it doesn't come out the other end.

Maybe it's just me, I'm a strange person, but I don't understand why is it necessary burn the buns, it does not add to the appearance or taste. And sometimes we get burned sometimes not, strangely. Maybe fancy pansy American style, but I have carbs at home myself, I don't need more. But here, fortunately, there was only very little burning, not like what happened with Food Friends where you could throw away half the bun at once.

Although the fries were quite tasty in larger pieces, of course they had cooled down quite a bit by the time we performed all the photo rituals, but even then everything was eaten and we didn't have to throw anything away. Realistically, this place lacks very, very little to, well, some sort of perfection. The first steps are good, now we will follow and wish only to improve.

Kansas City Bar-B-Que Review - Price 4/5

The price of burgers is pretty standard now, for a more exclusive burger, you will have to pay about 10e, but a simpler burger can be found for 8 euros. So, in general, everything is very logical, but the ribs were really good value for money. After paying about 16 euros we really ate a lot of meat and vegetables, at least our opinion was not spared. So we give it a strong 4 for the prices.

Kansas City Bar-B-Que Review The verdict is 17/20

As I mentioned in the review, Kansas City Bar-B-Que gave us a really good first impression, and Kansas is close to being in our TOP 5. Really tasty ribs, quite a wide selection, and pleasant service. Maybe not kebab tonight but to the USA?
